It's going to be scary and will seem to never end. There will be bad days but good days will come too. We spent 4 months in the hospital and had many many days on the vent, cpap and then the cannula. We had two surgeries (hernia and PDA) and a lot of other things along the way. He started out at 1 lb 10 oz but was over 8 lbs when he came home. It was the hardest thing I ever faced but we relied on faith and he made it through. He is now 8 months ( actual) 15 poundsand is off all meds and just on a small amount of oxygen. Developmentally he is right on track with his adjusted age. Stay strong and just know there is light at the end of the tunnel. God bless all of you. You are all in my prayers!
